ORKA-HPC is a BMBF-funded project that intends to make FPGAs accessible to people in software development in the HPC environment and to significantly reduce the software porting effort on FPGAs. For this purpose, a productive usability of FPGAs via OpenMP (as the most adapted shared memory programming model so far) should be established.
